What You Need to Know

FAQ’s

Can we have our wedding ceremony on the property?

Yes! We have two beautiful outdoor areas on the property for ceremonies.

We have the beautiful wooden Arbor and Fireplace locations to choose from.

For indoor options, we have our Four Seasons room.

How many people does Public School House hold?

Occupancy is 90 inside the venue for a seated meal.

Seating includes tables, bar and high-top tables. We have two outdoor patios as well.

Inside the School House holds 50 seated and the Four Seasons room holds 40 seated.

Cocktail parties can range from 150-200ppl.

Seating may vary if you have entertainment, gift tables or a buffet.

*The use of a rented tent may be required for larger parties.

Do you offer food?

We have a great variety of 10 catering companies to choose from.

No outside caterers are allowed.

You may bring in your own desserts.

Do you offer refunds?

The Date-Hold rental fee is non-refundable. In the unlikely event the client needs to reschedule the event, a credit will be given for amounts paid to go towards a rescheduled event.

Requests for rescheduling must be received 72 hours prior to the schedule event in written form.
Any requests received after the 72 hours deadline will not be honored. Every effort will be made by PSH to support a new date within 1 year of your prior scheduled date.

Can we play music?

Yes! We have a built in speaker system. Clients can either have our team play a genre for them or bring in their own playlist on an ipad/tablet. Outdoor music must end at 12am.

We also have a preferred DJ and Karaoke service: Let’s Groove Entertainment.

Can we set up games?

Absolutely! We have outdoor patios and a grass lawn perfect for yard games including corn hole and washers.

(we do not provide games)

Do you have a Projector?

No. However, we have two TVs in the venue that clients can utilize for videos/slideshows. These TVs can connect to devices using HDMI cords. We strongly encourage Media Tests for any events that revolve around important Media details.

Can we bring outside liquor?

No, outside liquor is not permitted. We have several beverage packages to choose from.

How does the clean up work?

The Public School House will take care of the clean up with the exception of all rental equipment, decorations, and supplies. These items must be removed immediately following your event.

The Public School House is not responsible for any supplies left behind.
